Meet A-LEAF’s new board of directors

To meet the continuing global growth in wind turbine projects, specialist company A-LEAF is now adding even more capability to its international expertise, global upscaling and strategic direction. Three of the industry’s top people within both On- & Offshore Wind,  will become the board of directors and boost A-LEAF’s global profile. A-LEAF’s main areas are here within Wind Power, Heavy Steel & Infrastructure.

Following a slight global downturn in the annual total installed wind power capacity in 2017 and 2018 compared to 2015 and 2016, the growth forecasts for 2019-2022 are highly positive. This is due to massive investments in the global wind energy market, which is helping to jump-start a larger number of wind turbine projects around the world (GWEC Global Wind 2017 Report). The Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) here expects an annual total installed wind power capacity increase, of 8.8% from 2018 to 2019 and an additional 8.4% from 2019 to 2020.

Even though we already have some of the industry’s most experienced On- & Offshore specialists, I’m convinced that we always can improve ourselves. By having the necessary knowledge within the individual international markets, global upscaling, and strategic direction, we will become even more professionalised. Hereby ensuring that we can follow the global growth. A collaboration with a strong future board of directors will help this happen.” (Anders G. Larsen, CEO at A-LEAF)

The board of directors will include some very well-known profiles from the on- and offshore industry and will jumpstart the collaboration with A-LEAF at the WindEnergy trade fair in Hamburg. Here they will be ready to meet future and existing A-LEAF customers in Hall B1 EG, stand 320 on 27 September at 15:00–18:00 PM.

The upcoming board of directors are – Ole Teglgaard, Jens Frederik Hansen, and Bo Moerup.

Ole Teglgaard

I see great growth potential at A-LEAF, in which I would like to support them. By virtue of my extensive industry experience, my experience with starting up my own company (Resolux) and entering the global market, I am certain that I can support, in particular, the global upscaling.” (Ole Teglgaard, CEO at Resolux)

Jens Frederik Hansen

consultant in offshore wind, has also been CEO at A2Sea, Suzlon and Bladt Industries, and has held board of directors positions, including at the Danish Wind Industry Association and Brøndum. Anders and Jens Frederik have known each other since their time at Suzlon.

I have extensive experience in the major global wind growth markets, and I therefore have no doubt whatsoever that I can contribute to A-LEAF with my extensive international market expertise.”  (Jens Frederik Hansen, Consultant in offshore wind).

Bo Moerup

Founder & Senior Advisor at Depeche Consulting, has 23 years of experience in the wind turbine industry. Two decades ago, Anders and Bo worked together at NEG Micon, where Bo was employed as the General Manager. Since then, Bo Moerup has held leading positions, such as Vice President at Vestas Offshore and at Vestas Global Service, and most recently, CEO at the Nordex Group (Germany). He also has board of directors experience from the IT sector.

I have extensive knowledge in the production and sale of wind turbines, which means I can support A-LEAF to maintain the correct strategic focus.”  (Bo Moerup, Founder & Senior Advisor at Depeche Consulting)

A-LEAF is looking very much forward to the impending cooperation with the board of directors.
