Continued into 2019, A-LEAF has focused on supporting the ongoing supply-chain towards developing offshore wind farms in Taiwan.
Since the first projects for Offshore Wind Farms in Taiwan were signed by developers, A-LEAF has focused on supplying qualified specialists towards the process.
Including a successful Offshore Exhibition in Kaohsiung in the early spring, the first half of 2019 has so far resulted in some exciting projects for our specialists towards Offshore Wind in Taiwan:
Sourcing Management with communication in Mandarin
Hans Jørgen Larsen (Sourcing Manager) and Donna Permatasari (Project Coordinator & Translator) are supporting Bladt Industries with Sourcing Management, towards local suppliers in Taiwan, for the process of supplying completed Jacket Foundations.


Know-how transfer for Pin Piles, TP’S & Jacket Foundations
Lars Sigaard (Senior Project Manager) and A-LEAF’s team of specialists are currently supporting and supplying know-how to the Taiwanese market, through (Pin Piles, TP´s and Jacket Foundations) feasibility studies, production layout optimization and facility commissioning.
Quality Inspections of Wind Turbines towards Formosa 1
Lars Christensen (QA/QC Manager) has performed Quality Assurance on wind turbines in Cuxhaven constructed for the Formosa 1 Project in Taiwan, followed by quality assurance locally in Taiwan.
Welding Engineer to support manufacturing of mockups
Vikas Dighe (International Welding Engineer / IWE) has been stationed in Taiwan for supporting the manufacturing of TP mockups, by supplying know-how to the local manufacturing of TP’s and Jacket Foundations.
